The Friends of Fort Laurens - Ohio's only American Revolutionary War outpost, Fort Laurens. Contains a listing of men who either marched to the Fort Laurens site with General McIntosh on November 1778, or most likely helped construct the Fort, actually served in defense of the Fort, or they were on one of the attempted re-supply missions to Fort Laurens from Fort Pitt.

Ohio Historical Center - Offers history on The French and Indian War which was one in a string of wars fought between England and France beginning in the late 1600s. Spanish-American War 1898 to 1902


Ohio Soldiers in the War with Spain, 1898-99 - "The Official Roster of Ohio Soldiers in the War with Spain, 1898-99" was compiled under the direction of Frank B. Willis, Governor, Charles Q. Hildebrant, Secretary of State, and Benson W. Hough, Adjutant General of Ohio and published under the authority of the General Assembly in 1916. It is the official record of the Ohio regiments in the Spanish-American War. (requires payment)
